Greetings,
Thank you for your interest in the University of Houston chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants. I am honored to be the president for the 2009-2010 academic year. The executive board and I have great things in store for new and returning members.
The UH NABA mission is to enable our members to be better business professionals in their respective fields of study. Throughout the year we host various events to ensure each member is better off academically, professionally and more humble.

DAY WITH NABA The Houston Professional Chapter will have its 5th annual "Day with NABA" this Saturday, April 3, 2010. This conference will include workshops and seminars designed to better prepare students for careers in accounting and financial management disciplines. Students will also have the opportunity to network with other area student chapters as well as local NABA professionals. EVENTS | NABA goes to the Rodeo!
Come out to the Rodeo with us!!! You will only have to pay $7, by March 4th by 1:00pm to Courtney, for general admission and the rest of your expenses is covered by NABA. NABA is also offering you a carnival pack of 22 tickets for rides and games, two refreshment coupons, two free game coupon and $5 OFF show merchandises. This applies only to PAID members! We will meet at the UC on March 5th at 6:30 pm to car pool there, so bring few dollars to help pay for parking. THERE ARE ONLY 12 TICKETS LEFT SO HURRY BEFORE THEY'RE GONE! EVENTS | NABA Bake Sale
 NABA Bake Sale When: Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 Where: Melcher Hall Backdrum Time: 9:00am- 4:00pm We will be hosting our bake sale this week in Bauer on Wednesday February 24th, 2010!! We need volunteers to help work the table and we will also need people to donate items to sell! Please remember that all participation will gain you points toward UH NABA scholarship eligibility! The bake sale will run from 9am to 4pm right under the stairs in Bauer (most of you probably have seen other organizations holding bake sales in this area). If you can stop by between classes at least for an hour or so that would be great!!! Please respond and let me know what hours you can work and what items you can donate.
